*Multiple types of metallic powders are heated in an oxyacetylene flame resulting in a strong bond even though the temperature of the application never exceeds 650°F preventing a warped state, distortion, or metallurgical changes in the part being built up.

Following this procedure, the part is re-machined to its original specifications rather than constructing a brand new part.
